2nd Annual Adventure Van Expo
When: 9/7-9/8
Where: Homewood Mountain Resort
Adventure Vans are the latest evolution of the camper van started by the Westphalia (VW Camper bus) now these highly fuel efficient, 4x4, nimble and fun to drive vehicles are taking over ski area, mtn bike park parking lots, off-grid campsites and road tripping all over the country, because THEY ARE FUN and help you do more while away from home. Come check out the custom builds check out some #vanlife stuff, see old friends and meet new ones. BUT ITS NOT JUST VANS! We will have 4x4 trucks with roof top tents, campers, and tent trailer systems as well.
Dave Matthews Band In Concert

Dave Matthews Band, known also as DMB, formed in Charlottesville, Virginia, in early 1991, when vocalist/guitarist Dave Matthews decided to put some songs he had written on tape. Instead of simply recording himself with a guitar, he opted to bring in some instrumental help to give his musical ideas more depth.
Duran Duran In Concert
When: 9/13
Where: Harvey's Outdoor Arena
At the dawn of the ‘80s, a group of young men in Birmingham, England had a sound in their ears - one with echoes of glam, art-pop and dance. The band they formed quickly became a household name and, four decades later, Duran Duran have sold over 100 million records, had 18 American hit singles, 20 UK Top 20 tunes and continue to perform to huge concert audiences around the world.
Sample The Sierra Farm-to-Fork Festival
When: 9/14
Where: Bijou Community Park
Local libations and regionally sourced cuisine are on the menu at the 10th annual Sample the Sierra food and wine festival, Saturday, September 14. Early bird tickets will be available for the region’s only farm-to-fork fair celebrating homegrown food, wines, spirits and brews, and the opportunity for businesses to participate in the growing foodie culture in South Lake Tahoe, Calif.
Lake Tahoe Medwar 2019
When: 9/21
Where: Fallen Leaf Lake
MedWAR is short for Medical Wilderness Adventure Race. It is a unique event that combines wilderness medical challenges with the growing sport of adventure racing. The race was also developed as a tool for teaching and testing the knowledge, skills, and techniques of wilderness medicine, and for promoting teamwork and collegiality among competitors. MedWAR is sanctioned by North American Educational Adventure Racing (NAEAR).
