Tahoe Art League's Artist Studio Tour 
When: 8/3-8/5
Where: Tahoe Art League 
What: This year multiple local artists will be showing and selling their inspired creations at 13 studios located all around the south shore of beautiful Lake Tahoe!  On this free, self-guided tour you will see works of fine art including oil, watercolor, and acrylic paintings, jewelry, ceramics, metal and other sculptures and more!  Meet the talented artists and catch some of them in the act as they work on their latest creative endeavors.

Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival 
When: 8/8
Where: Sand Harbor State Park

Florence & The Machine 
When: 8/9
Where: Harvey's Casino Outdoor Arena
What: Florence and the Machine are an English indie rock band that formed in London in 2007, consisting of vocalist Florence Welch, keyboardist Isabella Summers, and a collaboration of other artists including harpist James Bradshaw.

Great Gatsby Festival

Concours d’Elegance Wooden Boat Show
When: 8/10-8/11
Where: Obexer's Boat Company
What: Celebrating its 46th anniversary, Lake Tahoe Concours is considered to be the premier judged wooden boat shows in the nation. Each year, more than 85 of the best antique, vintage and classic boats in North America compete in specialized classes for top honors and bragging rights. The meticulously restored boats include historic lakers and launches, some dating back to 1915; pre and post-WWII racers and runabouts; utility boats and flashy Rivas.

Janet Jackson
When: 8/10
Where: Harvey's Outdoor Arena
What: 7:30 pm, Friday, August 10, 2018, Global superstar Janet Jackson takes her outstanding and in-demand State of the World Tour to arenas and amphitheaters across the U.S. this summer, including a performance at Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harveys. The outing will showcase some of the legendary entertainer’s biggest dance anthems and powerhouse ballads that have become staples of the music icon’s career.

Steve Miller & Peter Frampton
When: 8/17
Where: Harvey's Casino Outdoor Arena
What: The Steve Miller Band is an American rock band formed in 1966 in San Francisco, California. The band is managed by Steve Miller on guitar and lead vocals. They are best known today for a string of (mainly) mid-1970s hit singles that are staples of classic rock radio, as well as several earlier acid rock albums. Miller left his first band to move to San Francisco and form the Steve Miller Blues Band.

Lake Tahoe Triathlon

Where: Sugar Pine Point State Park
What: The Lake Tahoe Triathlon is a favorite of many triathletes. The venue, setting, and course offer a truly beautiful and challenging experience. Join us annually the fourth weekend in August in beautiful Lake Tahoe, California for a great race and a time of your life!
